Три человека погибли во время бушующего шторма Глория, который накрыл Испанию, сопровождаясь сильным ветром, обильными снегопадами и существенным падением температуры воздуха.

Более, чем 30 провинций оповестили о мощном шторме, однако Валенсия и Балеарские острова оказались под самым большим ударом урагана.
В провинции Авила 63-летний мужчина скончался дома после того, как на него обрушилась черепица крыши, поднятая порывом ветра, сообщил мэр города Педро Бернардо.
Резкое и существенное падение температуры воздуха стало причиной смерти 54-летней бездомной женщины в Гандии, недалеко от Валенсии, сообщил Reuters муниципальный чиновник.
Еще один человек в северо-западном регионе Астурия был раздавлен автомобилем во время установки на него цепей, сказал представитель экстренных служб.
Шторм также вынудил закрыть аэропорт Аликанте, что привело к отмене почти 200 рейсов.
Национальное метеорологическое агентство Aemet сообщило о ветре до 115 км в час (71 миль / ч) и восьмиметровых (26 футов) высоких волнах в провинции Валенсия.
