Ми не повинні давати порожні обіцянки Україні щодо вступу до ЄС – Бербок
ЄС не знає, коли Україна зможе вступити до Євросоюзу через військове вторгнення Росії. Як заявила міністр закордонних справ Німеччини Анналена Бербок, ЄС не повинен давати порожніх обіцянок щодо вступу в блок.
Про це повідомило видання Tagesschau. "Україна належить до європейського дому. Однак ми не знаємо, коли цей крок може бути зроблений і як він може бути зроблений, тому що вони зараз перебувають у стані жахливої війни. Україна попросила про швидкий вступ до ЄС після нападу Росії 24 лютого і вже представила документи, які могли б стати основою для переговорів про вступ", - заявила глава МЗС Німеччини.
Вона підкреслила, що процедура вступу в ЄС зазвичай займає роки. "Ми більше ніколи не повинні давати порожніх обіцянок. Тому давно розпочаті переговори про вступ до ЄС з Північною Македонією та Албанією повинні бути відкриті до кінця цього семестру", - додала Бербок.
