The convention of the Democratic Party will be held from August 19 to 22 in Chicago. Evening events, such as official proceedings and prime-time programming, will take place at the United Center, home of the Chicago Bulls and Chicago Blackhawks.Party delegates from all 50 states, the District of Columbia and US territories will participate in the convention.
Harris has accumulated more than enough pledged support from delegates to win, and she will likely be announced as the official nominee by August 7.
