Европарламент избрал главу Еврокомиссии
Депутаты Европарламента проголосовали во вторник в Страсбурге на поддержку Урсулы фон дер Ляен на пост председателя Еврокомиссии.
"На основании результата голосования кандидата Европейского совета госпожа Урсула фон дер Ляен избран председателем Европейской комиссии", - объявил глава Европарламента Давид-Мария Сассоли, сообщает Интерфакс-Украина.
Для избрания кандидату на главу Еврокомиссии нужно было получить 374 голоса при тайном голосовании.
Ранее европейский парламент со второй попытки избрал нового президента - во время повторного голосования большинство голосов получил итальянец Дэвид-Мария Сассоли, "Социалисты и демократы" (S&D).
Голосование было тайным с использованием бумажных бюллетеней.
