В Канаде началось наводнение, 500 квартир ушло под воду (видео)
Масштабные паводки на востоке Канады вынудили жителей покинуть свои дома.
Об этом сообщает канадский общественный вещатель CBC News.
“Более 1000 домов затоплены в провинции Квебек, причем большинство — недалеко от столицы Квебек-сити, в частности 500 квартир ушло под воду в городе Сейнт-Мари, что за 60 км на юг от столицы”, - информирует CBC News.

В мэрии города сообщили, что уровень воды в реке Шоудьє, в воскресенье 21 апреля каждый час поднимался на 20 см.
Надо отметить, что водная артерия проходит прямо по Сейнт-Мари.
Для помощи в эвакуации населения и защите объектов критической инфраструктуры в Квебеке были развернуты войска. Сейчас к борьбе со стихией привлечены 600 военнослужащих и десятки единиц специальной техники.

Метеорологи прогнозируют, что в течение следующих дней температура воздуха несколько снизится, а осадки прекратятся, что приведет к снижению уровня воды в водоемах.
Ранее сообщалось, что стал известен прогноз погоды в Украине на неделю.
