Ukraine demonstrates endurance and strategic superiority on all front lines – Rezazade
On November 6, 164 combat clashes were recorded on the front line between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian troops — one of the most intense days since the beginning of autumn. The main battles are taking place in the Donetsk region, in particular in the Pokrov direction, where the enemy carried out more than a third of all attacks.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
First Vice President of the Iranian opposition in Washington, international expert Ali Reza Rezazade commented on the situation, emphasizing that the Ukrainian army is not only holding the front, but also disrupting the Kremlin's strategic plans for the winter.
"Russia is trying to exhaust Ukraine with massive assaults, but the result is the opposite — it is the Russian army that is suffering record losses. The resilience of the Ukrainian troops demonstrates that the Russian strategy of complete exhaustion is not working," Rezazade noted.
According to the General Staff, in just 24 hours, the enemy launched one missile and 37 air strikes, using six missiles and over 95 guided bombs. In addition, the occupiers attacked with 2,693 kamikaze drones and carried out over 3,800 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and settlements.
In the Pokrovsky direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 55 attempts to break through the defense. The fiercest fighting continues near the settlements of Chervonyi Liman, Mirnograd, Novoekonomichne, Pokrovsk and Lysivka. According to preliminary estimates, 97 occupiers were destroyed, artillery systems, a drone control point and over a dozen enemy shelters were hit.
Rezazade emphasized that the increase in the intensity of fighting in the Donetsk region indicates an attempt by the Kremlin to seize the initiative before the winter campaign, but Ukrainian forces have already proven that they are able to withstand any pressure.
“Today, Ukraine is not just defending itself — it is changing the very logic of war. Every day that the front remains stable is a strategic defeat for Moscow,” the expert emphasized.
According to Rezazade, the tactics of mass assaults, which Russia is actively using, are leading to colossal human losses among the occupiers and depleting their resources.
