Таке повідомило The Washington Post. Голова Білого дому заявив, що прийме Нобелівську премію миру, якщо цьогорічна лауреатка, венесуельська опозиціонерка Марія Коріна Мачадо запропонує її йому під час зустрічі наступного тижня.
Проте представники Нобелівського комітету не забарилися зруйнувати надії американського лідера та пояснили, що премія не може бути розділена або передана. "Після оголошення Нобелівської премії її не можна скасувати, розділити або передати іншим. Рішення є остаточним і залишається в силі назавжди", – заявили Норвезький Нобелівський комітет і Норвезький Нобелівський інститут.
