Harris is ready for the second debate with Trump – Rezazade
The vice president of the Iranian opposition in Washington, Ali Reza Rezazade, indicates that the Harris campaign wants to hold a second presidential debate with Trump.
The second meeting is scheduled to take place in addition to the Oct. 1 debate between the two major party presidential candidates. Vice President Kamala Harris wants another round of debate with former President Donald Trump.
The Democratic campaign has announced its desire to hold a second meeting with the Republican candidate before the November election.
"Under the bright lights, the American people have seen the choice they face: forward with Kamala Harris or backward with Trump," Harris campaign chair Jen O'Malley Dillon said in a statement after the debate.
Trump has previously called for three debates with Harris, but it is not clear whether he will agree to at least a second meeting after Tuesday's clash in Philadelphia. "We'll look at it, but they want a second debate because they lost," Trump told reporters when he visited the spin room after the debate.
