Помпео обвинил Россию в гибели турецких военных в Идлибе
Государственный секретарь США Майк Помпео заявил, что ответственность за гибель турецких военнослужащих в сирийской провинции Идлиб лежит исключительно на России.
Об этом сообщается на сайте Государственного департамента США.
В ходе брифинга Майк Помпео также выразил поддержку Анкаре и одобрил ее действия в Идлибе.
"Мы уверены, что Россия убила дюжины турецких военных в ходе своих военных операций, мы поддерживаем нашу союзницу по НАТО Турцию и рассмотрим принятие дополнительных мер для того, чтобы оказать ей помощь и положить конец насилию в Идлибе и в Сирии", – сказал Помпео.
В конце февраля в Идлибе в результате авиаудара ВВС Сирии погибли более 33 военнослужащих Турции.
Также сообщалось, что США могут ввести новые санкции против России из-за ситуации в Сирии.
