Протесты в Гонконге заблокировали работу местного аэропорта
Аэропорт Гонконга в понедельник, 12 августа отменил все рейсы до конца дня в связи со сложной ситуацией, которая возникла на территории аэровокзала, заполненного тысячами протестующих.
Об этом передает Bloomberg в понедельник, 12 августа.
Как информирует СМИ, аэропорт Гонконга перестал принимать и отправлять рейсы после того, как тысячи человек устроили очередную акцию протеста в главном терминале.
Отмечается, что реализованными будут только те рейсы, пассажиры которых успели пройти регистрацию
Сообщается также, что утром 12 августа в аэропорт начали пускать исключительно тех пассажиров, которые имели при себе билеты на рейсы с вылетом в ближайшие 24 часа, а также сотрудников аэропорта.
Акция протеста в аэропорту Гонконга началась 9 августа и должна была завершиться вечером 11 августа, но активисты решили ее продолжить.
Аэропорт Гонконга — крупнейший международный транзитный узел. В 2018 году там побывали около 75 миллионов пассажиров, сообщает BBC News.
Ранее сообщалось, что в субботу, 10 августа полиция Гонконга применила к протестующим слезоточивый газ из-за блокировки демонстрантами одной из стратегически важных трасс.
