Суд США оштрафовал Samsung на рекордную сумму

Так, компания признана виновной в нарушении патента Корейского института передовых технологий (KAIST IP US). Как сообщается, речь идет о патенте на технологию FinFet, которая позволяет значительно повысить производительность микрочипа, снизив его энергопотребление.

Напомним, ранее сообщалось, что в Южной Корее главу Samsung Group Ли Чже Ен приговорили к 5 годам тюрьмы за хищения, взятки и сокрытии активов. Согласно информации издания, в частности его признали виновным во взяточничестве на сумму около 6,38 млн долларов, хищении, скрытии активов за рубежом, сокрытии прибыли от преступных действий и лжесвидетельства.
Также отмечается, что дело связанное с коррупционным скандалом, стоило президентского кресла Пак Кын Хе. Так, обвинение настаивало на тюремном заключении сроком в 12 лет.
