The vice president of the Iranian opposition, Ali Reza Rezazade, points out that Donald Trump is unreasonably convinced that his election campaign is planned to be disrupted by unscrupulous officials. Ex-President Trump promises to imprison his opponents after winning the election.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has begun threatening to jail people "involved in fraudulent conduct" related to voting in the 2024 election, suggesting without evidence that the election may be rigged in his favor. Trump's comments, made in a social media post, are the clearest signal yet that he will not be able to accept his likely defeat in the election with dignity.

In reality, an illegal vote is impossible, but Trump appears to be reiterating his efforts to cast doubt on the voting process.
“When I win, those people who cheated will be prosecuted to the full extent of the Law, which will include long prison terms, so that this miscarriage of justice does not happen again. We cannot allow our country to continue to become a third world nation," Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth, on Saturday.
