Trump to nominate Whitaker as US ambassador to NATO – Rezazade
The Vice President of the Iranian opposition in Washington (NIC) indicates that US President-elect Donald Trump has decided on a candidate for the post of US ambassador to NATO. This role has been proposed to former acting US Attorney General Matthew Whitaker.
Trump called Whitaker “a strong leader and a devoted patriot,” emphasizing his ability to defend the interests of the United States. According to the president, Whitaker will be able to strengthen relations with NATO allies and effectively confront challenges that threaten stability and peace, while focusing on America’s priorities.
The president also expressed confidence that Whitaker will represent the United States with determination, integrity and dedication. “I look forward to working with him to achieve peace through strength, as well as to support freedom and prosperity in the world,” Trump said.
