The first vice president of the Iranian opposition in Washington, Ali Reza Rezazade, addressed American congressmen and political leaders in the morning, urging them to convey a key signal to President Donald Trump: “You cannot negotiate with Russia. They only understand the language of force.”
“I personally transmitted the video of the consequences of the night attack — explosions, destroyed residential buildings where children and civilians were sleeping. This is not a war on the battlefield — this is deliberate terror against the civilian population,” Rezazade said in Washington.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the enemy used a wide arsenal of weapons:
• Kh-101 cruise missiles launched from Tu-95MS bombers (Volgograd, Saratov regions of the Russian Federation);
• Kalibr sea-based missiles from the Black Sea;
• Iskander-M / KN-23 ballistic missiles (Voronezh region);
• Kh-59/69 aircraft guided missiles;
• Shahed-Geran, Gerbera, etc. attack drones.
The combined attack lasted more than 11 hours, with the expectation of simultaneously using various types of weapons to complicate the work of air defense. Several waves of shelling were carried out, in particular:
• the first wave (00:28–01:17) — cruise missiles;
• ballistics (01:05–01:36);
• second wave of the KR (03:46–04:26);
• third wave of the KR (04:00–05:15);
• fourth wave of the KR (05:17–05:56);
• UAV attack — from 19:03 to 06:28.
Civilians died, among the injured were children.
“While the West is discussing “diplomatic ways,” Kyiv is wrapping children’s bodies in black bags in the morning. If anyone still believes that an agreement can be reached with Moscow — watch these footage,” Rezazade said emotionally.
The politician called on the US and its allies to reject the illusions of “negotiations” with the Kremlin and increase military support for Ukraine.
“This is not a local war — it is a challenge to the entire civilized world. And it can only be answered with strength, unity, and an uncompromising position," he emphasized.
