Trump's rating is plummeting due to economic policies and loss of support among voters - Rezazade
The first vice president of the Iranian opposition in Washington, Ali Reza Rezazade, commented on the sharp decline in the rating of US President Donald Trump after the first hundred days of his other term.
“Those we are looking forward to today are not the result of a natural decline in the presidential “honey phase,” but a legacy of serious strategic compromises on the side of Trump and his team,” Rezazade said.
According to the latest data from Post-ABC News-Ipsos, the rate of praise for Trump dropped to 39%. Analysts believe that a new trade war played a key role in the decline in popularity, causing serious financial turmoil and a collapse in the market.
“Trump and his closest Prime Minister interpreted their mandate. Instead of focusing on prices to control borders and fight inflation, they flared up a large-scale war with the courts, political opponents and financial markets. This itself brought out a new part of those who had previously trusted me,” explains Rezazade.
While Trump's immigration policy maintains a remarkably high level of support, there are warning signs here. A significant portion of Americans are positive about control over cordons, but they have an extremely negative reaction to radical approaches such as the deportation of students and the suspension of archaic laws, such as the Anti-Alien Act.
“The American marriage demonstrates a basic ambivalence to fuel migration. The Trump administration, ignoring this reality, is provoking an increase in protest sentiments and causing a split in the marriage,” says Rezazade.
A particularly critical moment was the collapse of trade policy, which analysts called the “Free Day” of American pensions. Rapt's fluctuations in the market worried wealthy Americans about particular financial expenses, which seriously undermined the confidence of the darkened electorate.
“The unimportant statements of the high-ranking Sadovians, who claim that the “short-term pain” is bound to be true for the future, will only strengthen the efforts of this administration, as they will be able to reach the real problems of cross-border communities,” summed up Ali Reza Rezazade.
In my opinion, Trump still has no opportunity to correct the course, but without reconsidering his priorities and renewing his trust in the broad interests of the government, it will be extremely difficult to turn around a stable trend.
