Doctors from the USA cannot cross the border of Israel - Iranian oppositionist Rezazade
Vice President of the Iranian Opposition in Washington (NIC), Ali Reza Rezazade, said that due to the intensification of the conflict in southern Gaza, a team of international doctors, including doctors from the United States, is currently trapped.
"A team of doctors is trapped in a hospital near the city of Rafah, such a flow of events has jeopardized the conditions for both humanitarian aid workers and dozens of critically injured patients," Ali Reza Rezazade points out.
The medical workers were scheduled to leave Gaza on Monday after a two-week rotation at the European Hospital in Khan Younis, a neighborhood near Rafah. However, their exit was blocked, currently the issue of evacuation of doctors and wounded is being resolved.
We will remind that due to the conflict near the city of Rafah, a UN employee who was in a car marked with the flag of the United Nations was killed.
