Former Trump lawyer Ellis will cooperate in the case of Arizona voters – Rezazade
Vice President of the Iranian Opposition in Washington (NIC) Ali Reza Rezazade reports that former Trump lawyer Jenna Ellis has agreed to cooperate in the Arizona voter case.
which would allow her to avoid potential prison time. Ellis agreed to provide prosecutors with evidence that could implicate all of the defendants.
Arizona Attorney General Chris Mays, after speaking with Jenna Ellis, reached a cooperation agreement with her. It will be recalled that Ellis served as a legal adviser to Donald Trump's 2020 campaign and was one of 18 defendants in connection with an alleged effort to try to undermine President Biden's victory four years ago, according to prosecutors.
The attorney general agreed to drop nine felony charges against Ellis in exchange for her full cooperation with the investigation. The deal allows Ellis to avoid potential prison time in exchange for providing prosecutors with evidence and "completely truthful" testimony in any future trials. She will also provide documents and any other materials related to the voter strategy that could help state prosecutors obtain favorable verdicts in the high-profile case.
