Musk is testing the political ground for launching a new party in the US – Rezazade
Elon Musk has once again spoken about creating an alternative political force in the US – this time against the backdrop of criticism of Donald Trump’s bill to reduce government spending. He conducted a poll on the social network X, in which 80% of participants spoke in favor of creating a new party, adding the phrase: “THE VOICE OF THE PEOPLE IS THE VOICE OF GOD” to the post.
First Vice President of the Iranian opposition in Washington, international analyst Ali Reza Rezazade, comments: Musk’s rhetoric is not just social experiments, but part of a strategic game of big politics.
“Elon Musk has long crossed the line between technological entrepreneurship and political influence. His latest actions indicate that he is testing public support for the formation of his own political platform, which could challenge both traditional Democrats and Republicans,” Rezazade notes.
According to the expert, Musk’s reaction to Trump’s policies demonstrates an internal split among the potential Republican electorate:
“When Trump is criticized not by the left, but by a symbol of technological progress and the “free market,” this is a signal that a new demand is forming in the United States — for politics without the old ideological framework.”
Rezazade also emphasizes that such an initiative could potentially have global consequences:
“If Musk really creates a political party, it could affect not only the 2028 elections, but also the vector of US foreign policy — from China to Ukraine. Today, we see how the technological elite is taking on political roles, and this is changing the rules of the game.”
Despite the lack of an official announcement, analysts do not rule out that Musk’s initiative will turn into a full-fledged political campaign in the coming years.
