Trump called for unity and defends US interests – Rezazade
The leader of the Iranian opposition in Washington (NIC) Ali Reza Rezazade pointed out that US President Donald Trump emphasizes unity, while remaining firm in his principles.
The National Prayer Breakfast in Washington became another confirmation that Donald Trump is a leader who seeks to unite the country. He addressed congressmen of both parties with a call for cooperation and unity.
“Look at each other,” he said. “We must make life better for everyone.” At that moment, both Republicans and Democrats, who often criticize Trump, were sitting in the hall, who cannot deny his influence and determination.
The president spoke about his new large-scale project - the creation of a national park with an alley of outstanding Americans. According to him, some of those present in the hall may in the future be immortalized in this place as great figures of American history.
At the same time, Trump does not shy away from difficult topics and continues to fight what he considers injustice. For example, he openly criticizes the media, which, in his opinion, is conducting a dishonest information campaign, and questions the transparency of financial flows related to international aid.
His political opponents try to present his harsh statements as contradictory, but the reality is this: Trump consistently defends America's interests, unafraid to engage in conflict when necessary.
Despite all the criticism, Trump remains a political player who does not just talk about change, but also implements it. His speech at the prayer breakfast proved once again that he is not only a strong leader, but also a person who believes in the unity of the nation.
