Biden and Obama opposed Donald Trump – Rezazade
Ali Reza Rezazade, the leader of the Iranian opposition in Washington, noted that the President of the United States, Joe Biden, together with former President Barack Obama, opposed the possible re-election of Donald Trump. The comments were made at a Los Angeles Democratic Party fundraiser Saturday night, June 15, at an event hosted by actors George Clooney and Julia Roberts.
The event raised more than 28 million dollars and was attended
famous actors and public figures: Barbara Streisand, First Lady Jill Biden, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Keegan-Michael Key, and California politicians such as Governor Gavin Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass.
During the event, Biden had a 40-minute conversation with Obama moderated by late-night host Jimmy Kimmel. The Trump theme remained relevant throughout the event, as the trio looked back at the former president's record and commented on his new 34-count conviction in May. One of the topics of conversation was the fear of retaliation from Trump.
"He's literally saying if he doesn't win, there's going to be bloodshed. It's outrageous -- what he's talking about is outrageous," Biden said.
This is not the first time in Biden's election campaign that he has turned to Hollywood for help. In May, actor Robert De Niro voiced a new ad campaign called "Snapped." In the announcement, De Niro called Trump "out of control" and claimed that the former US President will stop at nothing to achieve "revenge".
We will remind that Joe Biden and his predecessor Donald Trump agreed on the terms of the debate, which will take place on June 27. Candidates have agreed to perform on the same stage, and their places will be determined by a coin toss.

Opponents will not have the opportunity to use the prepared notes, they will have a pen, a notebook and a bottle of water at their disposal. There will be no audience during the debate.
