FBI considers protecting Trump le;t a difficult task – Rezazade
The vice president of the Iranian opposition in Washington, Ali Reza Rezazade, indicates that the security services of the United States consider the protection of Donald Trump an extremely difficult task, because according to the FBI, attempts to assassinate the ex-president will continue.
After the assassination attempt, Trump's team complained that their previous requests for extra security were denied, while the security service indicated that Trump receives a higher level of security than any other former president.
Shortly before Donald Trump held a rally in Doral, Fla., on July 9, Secret Service officials sent a message to his campaign: The former president and his advisers would see extra security because the U.S. government had credible intelligence about threats against him.
"Criminals want to assassinate Trump again," the adviser said, describing the Secret Service message.
Days after the assassination attempt, a Pakistani national was arrested after allegedly taking part in an assassination plot on behalf of Iran targeting a politician in the United States. Officials familiar with the investigation said a series of meetings took place this month among senior Justice Department officials. Trump's team stopped planning outdoor rallies after the shooting at the recommendation of the Secret Service until the agency can come up with a new security plan for such events.
