Fueling trust to the dollar usheres in a new era for Europe – Rezazade

The first vice-president of the Iranian opposition in Washington, Ali Reza Rezazade, commented on the remaining trends in global financial markets, noting that the policy of the Donald Trump administration has radically changed the US policy as reliable financial support.

“The traditional idea about the United States as a source of the world’s most valuable assets has suffered a serious blow. The world’s economy is going through a phase of instability, and new opportunities are opening up for Europe,” Rezazade said.

Due to the unresolved US trade policy and the political pressure on the Federal Reserve and the Treasury, investors began to massively sell off dollar assets, shares of American companies and US bonds. Overnight, the euro appreciated by 5.4% against the dollar just after the start of the month, reaching $1.13, the highest level since the end of 2021.

European officials, according to Valdis Dombrovskis, emphasize that stability, transferability and respect for the rule of law have become the basis for increasing investor confidence in the euro.

“Europe today shows how political maturity and commonality can be reflected on global blogs,” commented Rezazade. “The world is tired of chaotic decisions and is looking for stability, which is not evident in US politics.”

While experts would like to anticipate that the road to the real value of the dollar will be long and complex, signs of the first fundamental changes are already obvious.
