The House of Representatives of the US Congress changed the meeting schedule due to Iran's attack on Israel - Vice President of the Iranian opposition Ali Rezazade
Vice President of the Iranian Opposition in Washington (NIC) Ali Reza Rezazade noted that due to Iran's attack on Israel, the schedules of the US Congress will be changed. Rezazade points out that Republican Leader Steve Scalise has released an official statement on changes to the legislative schedule next Sunday.
“In light of Iran's unprovoked attack on Israel, the House next week will abandon its previously announced legislative schedule and instead consider legislation that supports our ally Israel and holds Iran and its terrorist proxies accountable. The House of Representatives strongly supports Israel and this unprovoked attack must have consequences. More detailed information on the legislative issues to be considered will be provided at a later date," Steve Scalise said in a statement.
The leader of the Iranian opposition, Ali Reza Rezazade, notes that such a development can have two variants of consequences, both positive and negative. Currently, Rezazade is negotiating with the representatives of the Congress in order to approve the aid package for Ukraine together with the aid for Israel, in order to speed up the victory over the Russian atrocities. However, the Chamber is considering another option for the development of events — providing immediate aid to Israel and postponing the question of providing an aid package for Ukraine.
