In Biden's hometown, Trump has mentioned his former opponent hundreds of times since Kamala Harris became the Democratic nominee. At a campaign event in Washington, Trump recalled their June 27 debate, questioned the mental competence of his former opponent and misleadingly described the selection of Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee as a "coup."
Trump is spending the last weeks before the election trying to humiliate Harris, who has a lead in national polls, because the majority of Americans have opposed Donald Trump's aggressive policies.
