Iran's opposition vice president in Washington, Ali Reza Rezazade, has indicated that Donald Trump will push for a program that would automatically grant green cards to all foreign college students in America upon graduation, reversing restrictions he imposed as president on immigration for high-skilled workers and students. to the United States.

The State Department estimated that the United States welcomed about one million international students in the academic year ending in 2022, most of them from China and India.
