Operation "Spiderweb" is a revolution in military strategy and a signal to global armies – Rezazade 

The massive strike by Ukrainian drones on five Russian air bases, including those located in Siberia and the Arctic, is not just a military operation - it is a break in the military paradigm of the 21st century.

This opinion was expressed by the first vice president of the Iranian opposition in Washington, international expert Ali Reza Rezazade, commenting on the unprecedented UAV attack, which, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky, destroyed or disabled a third of Russian strategic bombers.

"What Ukraine did this week is important not only for the course of the war with Russia, but also for the entire global security architecture. This is a technological breakthrough that turns the idea of protecting strategic objects upside down. The strike without a single plane, without tanks, without cruise missiles — only from mobile wooden boxes transported by trucks — proved: air dominance no longer belongs exclusively to states with fleets of fighter jets,” Rezazade emphasized.

The attack, codenamed “Web,” became, according to the expert, a “digital Pearl Harbor”: “Just as the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941 began the era of aircraft carriers, so now is the era of autonomous drone warfare. And if drones for tens of thousands of dollars can cause billions in damage — this changes the rules of the game for all armies in the world, not just Russia.”

According to Rezazade, the threat posed by mobile drones is universal and applies to every major country: “If Ukrainians were able to penetrate the defenses of Russian air bases — in an overly controlled state — what can prevent China, North Korea, or Pakistan from doing the same to US, South Korean, or Indian bases?”

It is especially important, the expert emphasizes, that Ukraine did this at a time when the West is showing indecision with military assistance, and US President Donald Trump is in no hurry to replenish Patriot stocks. “Instead of waiting for missiles, Ukraine struck the planes that these missiles launch. This is an example of true strategic thinking,” Rezazade notes.

Rezazade also criticized the state of the American administration: “At a time when cold-blooded decisions need to be made, the US does not have a full-fledged National Security Council. The president acts impulsively, the team is weakened. This is a threat not only to Ukraine, but to the entire civilized world.”

In conclusion, he added: "Ukraine has shown that even the most brutal enemy can be fought successfully if determination, technology, and intelligence are combined. This is a lesson for all who believe in freedom."
