The US Congress demands from Biden to restore the supply of weapons to Israel - the leader of the Iranian opposition Ali Reza Rezazade
Ali Reza Rezazade, the vice-president of the Iranian opposition in Washington, noted that yesterday the House of Representatives of the US Congress adopted the draft law "On promoting the security of Israel". The decision received support among 224 members of both Houses, mostly Republicans, while 187 opposed.
The document should be submitted to the Senate for further approval.

"The document, initiated by the Republican majority, condemns the decision of the Biden administration to suspend the supply of arms and calls on the US leadership to allow all previously approved arms deliveries to Israel to ensure that it can defend itself and to use all funds allocated by Congress for Israel's security assistance." - indicates the expert.
On May 15, after Biden threatened to veto the bill, Senate Democratic Majority Leader Schumer said the bill would not be considered in the House.
It will be recalled that on April 24, Biden signed a comprehensive law that includes multibillion-dollar military aid to Israel.
