Trump Counts on a Quick Victory Over Iran – Rezazade

US President Donald Trump said that he is counting on a quick victory over Iran and does not intend to allow the threat from Tehran to resurface in the future. According to him, this is not just a military confrontation, but a strategic goal - to achieve a final result and not allow the situation to repeat itself.

Commenting on the situation, Trump noted that, according to many observers, the outcome of the confrontation has already been virtually determined, and it is only a matter of time. At the same time, the American leader emphasized that the United States is interested in ensuring that, after the conflict ends, a government emerges in Iran that is capable of stabilizing the country and building an effective system of governance.

The US President also emphasized that ideally, Washington would like to see a leadership in Iran that “understands what it is doing” and is capable of rebuilding the country after a long period of tension and international isolation.

International expert and first vice president of the Iranian opposition in Washington, Ali Reza Rezazade, believes that such statements reflect a broader US strategy regarding the future of Iran.

“Washington is trying to show that its goal is not only military pressure, but also a political transformation of the situation inside Iran. It is about creating conditions under which the country will be able to move to a more stable and predictable development model,” Rezazade notes.

According to him, statements about a quick victory are also part of an information and diplomatic strategy.

“Such rhetoric is designed to demonstrate US confidence and at the same time increase pressure on the Iranian leadership. This is a signal that Washington is counting on a strategic advantage and does not intend to drag out the conflict,” the expert explains.

Rezazade emphasizes that the further development of the situation will depend not only on the military factor, but also on political processes inside Iran itself.

“History shows that sustainable changes are possible only when they are accompanied by internal political transformations. That is why the issue of the future governance of Iran is becoming a key element of the entire strategy,” he notes.
